Water elevation data indicates that
gradient at the site flows due north. The plume is present north of B-3. The downgradient
portion of the plume has not been defined at this time.
PHS/EHD recommends that a workplan for overexcavation of the former UST site and
installation of a downgradient monitoring well be submitted by May 1, 1995. The monitoring
wells shall be sampled quarterly until the investigation is complete using detection limits
recommended in the Tri-Regional Guidelines and the Leaking Underground Fuel Tank (LUFT)
manual.
For further information please contact Steven Sasson at (209) 468-3459.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Steven Sasson, Senior REHS Diane M.
