s
LATHROP PROPERTY
WKA No. 1161.02
January 30, 1992
Page 13
Our ground water quality investigation, which included the installation of three ground water
monitoring wells, revealed non-detectable concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons in ground
3 water samples obtained from the property in two consecutive calendar quarters. The wells I
r
were placed so that one monitoring well was located near the highest concentration of i
petroleum hydrocarbon soils contamination, and at least one other well was determined to be
hydraulically downgradient with respect to the suspect former UST(s) location. We do not
anticipate, therefore, that additional site characterization, monitoring or remediation is r
necessary.
a
LIMITATIONS
The above conclusions are based on our assessment of conditions indicated to exist as of the
r! dates of our field activities. Our services were based on professional opinions made in
accordance with current professional standards of the environmental consulting industry. This
phase of investigation of the property was targeted to investigate only petroleum hydrocarbon
contamination in the southwesterly portion of the property(as defined by our soil borings and
wells shown on Plate 21 resulting from suspected UST(s) leakage, and was not directed
toward other potential contaminants. The results of this investigation do not preclude the
possibility of substances that are currently or in the future defined as hazardous being present
on the property because of activities we did not identify. Additional research may result in
information that would lead us to revise our conclusions. This report is applicable only to the
investigated area of the property and should not be used for any other property. a
Wallace q Kuhl & Associates, Inc.
