The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for LPS WATER CO/TOWER PARK MARINA as of June 12 , 2020 . <br /> Open violations from February 25, 2020 inspection <br /> Violation #104 - No modified contingency plan . <br /> OBSERVATION A complete modified contingency plan was not posted at the facility. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in <br /> areas directly involved in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste : the name and emergency <br /> telephone number of the emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material , and the <br /> telephone number of the fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately post the required information at the facility. Provide a statement to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department that the correction is complete . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #106 - Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures . <br /> OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection , it could not be demonstrated ( not necessarily documented ) that <br /> employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained . Brandon Wysocki , water plant operator, stated that <br /> he had not had any training for emergency procedures and waste handling . Paul Craft, President, was also unsure <br /> if the waste water treatment plant operator had any training . <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures , relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately train the employees . Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD ) for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous <br /> waste . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br />
