The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for LPS WATER CO/TOWER PARK MARINA as of Junel2 , 2020 . Open violations from February 25, 2020 inspection ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) . ❑ Supporting documents included Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : Violation #713 - UWH stored UW onsite greater than one year or was unable to demonstrate storage time . OBSERVATION The facility could not demonstrate that universal waste ( UW) has been stored on site for no longer than one year. Two UW lamps were observed leaning against a wall in the water pump house at the filter plant The lamps had cobwebs and dust on them . REGULATION GUIDANCE: ( a) A universal waste handler shall accumulate universal waste for no longer than one year from the date the universal waste was generated , or was received from another universal waste handler . ( b) A universal waste handler shall be able to demonstrate the length of time that the universal waste has been accumulated from the date it became a waste or was received . The universal waste handler may make this demonstration by: ( 1 ) Placing the universal waste in a container and marking or labeling the container with the earliest date that any universal waste in the container became a waste or was received ; (2 ) Marking or labeling the individual item of universal waste (e . g . , each battery or thermostat) with the date it became a waste or was received ; ( 3) Maintaining an inventory system onsite that identifies the date the universal waste being accumulated became a waste or was received ; (4 ) Maintaining an inventory system onsite that identifies the earliest date that any universal waste in a group of items of universal waste or a group of containers of universal waste became a waste or was received ; ( 5 ) Placing the universal waste in a specific accumulation area and marking or labeling the area to identify the earliest date that any universal waste in the area became a waste or was received ; or (6) Any other method which clearly demonstrates the length of time that the universal waste has been accumulated from the date it became a waste or was received . CORRECTIVE ACTION : Since it could not be demonstrated how long this UW was stored on site , immediately dispose of this UW in accordance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations . Provide a corrective action statement, the disposal record and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD) within 30 days . ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by ( date) . ❑ Supporting documents included Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : Page 4 of 4
