The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for LPS WATER CO/TOWER PARK MARINA as of June12, 2020. <br /> Open violations from February 25, 2020 inspection <br /> Violation #104 -No modified contingency plan. <br /> OBSERVATION: A complete modified contingency plan was not posted at the facility. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in <br /> areas directly involved in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency <br /> telephone number of the emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the <br /> telephone number of the fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately post the required information at the facility. Provide a statement to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department that the correction is complete. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#106 -Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> OBSERVATION At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily documented) that <br /> employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained. Brandon Wysocki, water plant operator, stated that <br /> he had not had any training for emergency procedures and waste handling. Paul Craft, President, was also unsure <br /> if the waste water treatment plant operator had any training. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees. Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br />
