ffy
1'y fi"
7--Eleven/Stackton q
October 1988
f*•
efficiency of the remediation systems, a new recovery well was
installed and improvements were made on the existing treatment
equipment during the month of February 1988.
A more detailed account of the previous site work as well as
a description of the site geology and hydrogeology were presented
in GTI's reports titled ' Project Update Report, 7-Eleven Store,
911.0 Thornton Road, Stockton, California" dated September 1987
and April 1988.
SCCPE OF WORK
Services performed by GTI during this reporting period
consisted primarily of regularly scheduled operation and
maintenance of the remediation system, and monitoring and
sampling of the groundwater. This work was performed to continue
to remove hydrocarbon contamination which has adsorbed to the
t; soil, dissolved in the groundwater and accumulated as free
product on the water table. The monitoring and sampling was f
conducted to determine the levels of dissolved hydrocarbons in
the groundwater and to verify that nearby domestic wells have not
i6 been impacted with gasoline hydrocarbon contamination.
s Specifically, the following services were performed by GTI since
' the previous update report in April 1988:
s
a Monitored on-site and off-site wells.
' Sampled groundwater from monitoring wells without
free product and nearby domestic wells for
laboratory analysis.
. . Recorded the volume of product in the underground
storage tank.
'.... :.GROt'NOWATF.H
TF:CkrNuLtx}'.I\C.
