I
7--Eleven/Stockton 13
October 1.988
monitcring wells and pumping wells without free
product: twice a month.
DDr:estiC wells 9160, Tomato Growers (TMG) , 1927,
1912 and 8968: twice a month.
• Domestic wells 9140, 9159, 9156, 9.160; 9167, and
Ivy Motel: monthly.
The results of the laboratory analyses of the groundwater
samples for the reporting period are summarized in Table 2 of
Appendix I. The laboratory reports and method detection limits
(MDL) for the BTEX and TPfl-as--gasoline analyses performed are
presented in Appendix III. Dissolved Plume. Maps (Figures 9, 10,
11, 12, 13 and 14) were constructed using the laboratory tc:;t
data for the water samples collected from the monitoring and
pumping wells on selected dates during this reporting period.
Although minor concentrations of BTEX and TPH-as-gasoline
were detected on occasicn in some of the sampled domestic wells,
W., the concentrations Have generally remained below the laboratory
MDL. The only concentration above Department of Health sarvices
r.. drinking water standards was on July 27, 1988 when 1.0 part per
. Billion (ppb) benzene was detected in the sample from well TMG.
i
Following each sampling event where minor hydrocarbon
concentrations were detected, the following sample round showed
. non-detectable hydrocarbon levels. Due to the inconsistent
detection of hydrocarbons and the location of some of the wells
r that had hydrocarbons detected (upgradient and crossgradient) the
minor numbers recorded are likely due to external sources during
sampling or in the laboratory during analysis. i
The results of the laboratory analyses performed on the
water samples obtained from the monitoring and pumping wells
indicate the highest dissolved contamination levels to be in the
GxoUNDWATER
TECHNOLOGY,INC.
r
