7-Eleven/Stockton 7
November 1989
impermeable bed within the upper Mehrten Formation. Good quality
- groundwater is generally present in the unconsolidated formations
under unconfined conditions, although minor confined aquifers
exist.
SCOPE OF WORK
Services performed by GTI during this reporting period
consisted primarily of regularly scheduled operation and
maintenance of the remediation system, and monitoring and
sampling of the groundwater. specifically, the following
services have been conducted by GTI since the previous update
report was submitted in August, 1989:
o Monitored on-site and off-site wells for depth-to-
water and depth--to-product on six separate occasions.
o Sampled groundwater from fifteen monitoring wells and
from ten nearby domestic wells for laboratory analyses.
o Maintained the groundwater remediation and soil-vent
systems, including sampling and analyses of the
groundwater-treatment system influent and effluent.
o Drilled three off-site soil borings and installed three
2-inch-diameter monitoring wells to varying depths to
construct a downgradient monitoring well cluster.
o Drilled one off-site soil boring and completed it as a
2-inch-diameter monitoring well to further investigate
a potential upgradient source of petroleum
hydrocarbons.
