Samples were transported under Chain-of-Custody Manifest to
a State of California-certified laboratory, GTEL Environmental
Laboratories, Inc. (GTEL) in Concord, California. Each sample
was analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes
(BTEX) , and for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH)-as-gasoline by
modified EPA Methods 5030/8020/8015. The sampling schedule
during this period for the wells on and near the site, was as
follows:
o Monitoring wells and pumping wells were sampled twice
monthly starting with a sampling round on July 6, 1989.
o Domestic wells 9160, Tomato Growers (TMG) , 1927, 1912,
and 8968 were sampled twice monthly starting with the
sampling round on July 6, 1989.
o Domestic wells 9140, 9159, 9156, 9167, and the Ivy
Motel well were sampled once during each month starting
with the sampling round on July 6, 1989.
The results of the laboratory analyses of the groundwater
samples for this reporting period are summarized in Table 2
(Appendix A) . The laboratory reports and method detection limits
(MDL) for the BTEX and TPH-as-gasoline analyses performed are
presented in Appendix C.
14aps depicting the distribution of dissolved hydrocarbons in
- the groundwater, based on laboratory results from monitoring and
pumping-well samples from July,.
