P l
7-Eleven/Stockton
August 1990 24
SAY
Groundwater monitoring data have documented a decrease in
the water table elevation of approximately 1.28 feet during this
reporting period. The groundwater gradient remains in an
easterly direction, except in the areas within the capture zone
of the pumping well where it slopes towards the well. The
gradient was approximately
0.003 ft/ft during the three month
period.
The results of the groundwater sampling ,indicate that the
distribution of dissolved hydrocarbons in the
the site is concentrated near the former underground-tank and beneath
T - pump-island locations. The surrounding domestic wells did not
contain detectable levels of dissolved hydrocarbons during this
reporting period.
Work steps performed in addition to regular operation and
maintenance at the site included the upgrade of wells PW-2, MW-9
and MI-10.
M
The remediation system operated by Groundwater Technology at
the site consists of a groundwater-extraction system..
Groundwater was extracted from recovery well RW-1 at a rate of
approximately 0.4 to 1.0 gpm.
CLOSURE
Groundwater Technology,
Inc. is pleased to provide Southland
Corporation with this Project Quarterly update Report.
