All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #7 Pool Deck <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Wood slabs between concrete sections are damaged-close to picnic area.They shall be either replaced <br /> or filled with concrete. Correct by 2 weeks(repeat violation). <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with the <br /> top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any <br /> diving board,ADA device, or slide. (CBC 31148)Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #19 Depth Markers <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Two tile depth markers are damaged.They shall be removed and replaced. If unable to replace them, <br /> paint numbers with black paint. Numbers shall have"FT". Correct by 1 month (repeat violation). <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Depth markers shall be clearly marked in the following locations:at maximum depth,at minimum depth,at <br /> each end, on both sides at each end, at the slope break,and along the perimeter of the pool at distances not to exceed 25 feet. Depth <br /> markers shall be 4 inches high in a contrasting color and be marked in units of feet and inches.For pool water depths 6 feet and <br /> shallower,markers with universal"NO DIVING"symbol shall be installed on the deck directly adjacent to the depth markers. (CBC 311 OB) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br /> OBSERVATIONS:One skimmer lacks weir door. Provide by 1 week. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br /> maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 31366) <br /> #37 Electrical Hazards <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Pump is not bonded with copper wire. Correct by 1 week. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Electrical equipment installed in the water, walls, deck, or equipment room of a public pool shall comply with <br /> California Electrical Code. (CEC 680.4)Light fixtures installed in the pool that operate at more than 15 volts shall be protected by a ground <br /> fault circuit interrupter.
