Fill out and return the correction action
statement form with supporting documentation within 30 days. A big part of returning to
compliance for this inspection is disposing of the used oil, fluorescent tubes and bulbs, oily rags and
lamp ballasts properly. The San Joaquin County small business hazardous waste facility can accept
these wastes and you'll get a disposal receipt for your records and a copy should be sent to me. As a
business, you'll need an EPA ID number and an appointment with the facility to take the waste on a
Wednesday. Call 800-207-8222 to make an appointment.
San Joaquin County hazardous waste facility: https://www.sigov.org/solidwaste/dynamic?id=22937
Hazardous waste permanent EPA ID numbers: https://dtsc.ca.gov/permanent-state-epa-id-
numbers
Hazardous waste information in general: https://dtsc.ca.gov/generators/
Free classes offered at my department: https://webapp.scphs.org/EHTraining/Default.aspx
Please contact me for any assistance,
Garrett Backus, Ld.
