Project Quarterly Update Report July 28, 1992 <br /> Southland, 9110 Thornton Road, Stockton, California 4 <br /> above the method detection limits The analytical results for the groundwater samples collected <br /> during this quarter are summarized in Tables 4 and 5 Copies of the analytical laboratory reports are <br /> ' included In Appendix B The historical laboratory results for samples from the monitoring, pumping, <br /> and domestic wells are presented In Appendices C and D <br /> ' 3.0 REMEDIATION SYSTEM <br /> ' The groundwater extraction and treatment system at the site consists of a pumping well designed to <br /> depress the groundwater surface and remove separate-phase hydrocarbons and an air stripper <br />' designed to remove the petroleum fuel constituents dissolved In the extracted groundwater <br />' The groundwater extraction and treatment system had a mechanical breakdown in October 1990 as <br /> reported in the January 1991 Project Quarterly Update Report At Southland's request, the system <br /> has not been reactivated because of the following analytical results <br /> ■ No detectable TPH-as-gasoline concentrations in the samples from any of the <br /> monitoring wells, pumping wells, or nearby domestic wells from January 1991 <br /> through March 1992, except monitoring well MW-1 and domestic well No 9172, <br /> ■ No detectable benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, or xylenes in samples collected from <br /> t the same wells from April 1991 through March 1992, except for domestic well 9172 <br /> during August and September 1991 and April 1992, and monitoring well MWA In <br /> March 1992 <br /> Southland has submitted correspondence to the San Joaquin County Department of Health <br /> requesting that the groundwater treatment system be put In dormant status, with reactivation criteria <br /> based on changes In water quality data <br /> This concludes Groundwater Technology's Project Quarterly Update Report for the Southland site at <br />' 9110 Thornton Road In Stockton, Califomia If you have any questions or need add Itional <br /> Information regarding this site, contact Groundwater Technology's Concord office at (510) 671-2387 <br /> 1 <br /> I <br /> J�V GRoUNDWATER <br /> TECHNOLOGY, INC <br />
