GROUNDWATER ❑❑ TECHNOLOGY, INC. 4057 Port Chicago Highway,Concord,CA 94520(415)671-2387 FAX (415)685-9148 JUly 30, 1993 Project No 020201211 Mr Bob Vasquez The Southland Corporation 5820 Stoneridge Mall Road, Suite 310 Pleasanton, CA 94588 SUBJECT Second Quarter 1993 Monitoring and Sampling Rem Southland Site No 20680 9110 Thornton Road, Stockton, California Dear Mr Vasquez This Second Quarter 1993 Monitoring and Sarrigling Report presents the results of monitoring and sampling activities performed by Groundwater Technology, Inc between April 2 and June 30, 1993, at The Southland Corporation (Southland) Site No 20680 located at 9110 Thornton Road in Stockton, California (Attachment 1, Figure 1) As illustrated on the site plan (Figure 2), the store Is • on the northem corner of Thornton Road and Waudman Avenue in a mixed commercial and residential area Activities during this reporting period included Monitoring available groundwater monitoring wells for depth to water (DTVII) ■ Collecting and submitting for analysis groundwater samples from monitoring wells MW-1, MW-5, MW-7, MW-8, MW-9, MW-13, MW-16, MW-18, MW-19, MW-20, cluster wells MW-15A through MW-15C and MW-17A through MW-17C, former pumping wells PW-1 through PW-3, and former recovery well RW-1 on June 30, 1993 ■ Collecting groundwater samples from domestic wells 9036, 1912, 9140, 9156, and wells at the Ivy Motel and Kingdom Hall GROUNDWATER MONITORING DATA The DTW in the groundwater monitoring wells was monitored on June 30, 1993 The monitoring data are presented in Attachment 2, Table 1 Groundwater in the monitoring wells was allowed to stabilize to atmospheric pressure before monitoring water levels The DTW was measured to the nearest 0 01 foot from the top of the well casing, using an INTERFACE PROBETT"i Well Monitoring 1211 R023 020 Offices throughout the U S,Canada and Overseas
