T e proposed project consists of 5, 10-acre lots with individual septic syste s and 36 single-fa ily residences with individual septic tanks and a community leach field. The purposes of our study were to determine the suitability of the soils for the proposed septic systems usage and to collect 7 samples of near-surface soils in the proposed street locations for future R-Value testing. The R-Value test results will be reported in a separate document once testing is authorized. The soil suitability study was conducted according to the requirements of Section 9-10100 (C) of San Joaquin County Ordinances. The Tentative Map for the proposed project shows the project layout. Noted on the Tentative Map are the approximate locations of the 10 percolation test holes and the 7 R-Value samples. One percolation test was.performed on each of the 5, 10-acre lots and 5 tests were performed in the community leach field area. Thus, a total of 10 percolation tests were performed. The proposed project area is currently undeveloped and used for cattle grazing. At the time our our percolation testing on June 6, 1991 the site was covered with natural grasses and weeds. The boundaries of the community leach field were staked in the field by Dillon Engineering as well as percolation test locations on each of the 10-acre parcels. There are existing single-family residences adjacent to the north-west boundary of the proposed project along State Highway 88 (12). The single-family residences are located on ;, J
