Reference is made to our contract for services dated
August 14, 2001. Our scope included drilling 2 deep percolation holes on each lot, each within
approximately 10 feet from where shallow (42 inch) percolation tests previously failed. The depth of
holes varied from approximately 10 to 19 feet below the existing ground surface. In general, the soil
conditions encountered near the bottom of the test holes consisted of sandy silt or silty sand. The
percolation rates calculated from the last 30-minute reading varied from 10 to 17 minutes per inch. The
approved field forms are attached. Z on 1 ,
In absence of specific lot numbers, the tests locations were designated northeast, northwest, southeast, and
southwest of the 4-lot grouping. Considering the variability of the soils encountered in our percolation
holes, we suggest that all seepage pits extend at least 20 feet below grade.
We trust this letter summarizes the information requested. If you have any questions or need additional
information,please contact us.
Respectfully submitted,
KLEIN LDER, I C.
Ron Heinzen, G.E.
Regional Manager/ Senior Principal
RH:md
20-0175-01/2011 L644 Page 1 of 1
Copyright 2001 Kleinfelder, Inc.
