SAN JOAQUIN <br />COUNTY— <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br />Norcal Mastercraft (Whiskey Slough) 3407 S WHISKEY SLOUGH RD, STOCKTON I February 10, 2020 <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by March 11, 2020. <br />Starting September 1, 2018, all in -office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152). To schedule an <br />appointment, please call (209) 468-3420. <br />Documents provided during inspection: List of free training classes. <br />Waste streams found: used oil, metal oil filters, paper filters, oily debris <br />The following minor violations were corrected during the inspection: <br />OBSERVATION: In the hazardous waste storage area, one black 15 gallon trash can containing oily debris was <br />missing a lid. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br />storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by Marcel Dawson, Service <br />Manager, emptying the oily debris into a 55 gallon steel drum that had a lid. No further action is required to <br />correct this violation. <br />OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. In the <br />hazardous waste storage area: <br />-One black 55 gallon steel drum containing used oil (1/2 full) had a hazardous waste label that was missing the <br />name and address of the generator, the accumulation start date, the hazardous property, the physical state, and <br />the words "Hazardous Waste." <br />-Two white poly 55 gallon drums containing used oil (each 1/2 full) had hazardous waste labels that were missing <br />the name and address of the generator, the accumulation start date, the hazardous property, the physical state, <br />and the words "Hazardous Waste." <br />-One white poly 55 gallon steel drum containing used oil (1/2 full) had a hazardous waste label that was facing <br />another drum and not legible. Only the contents of the drum were legible. <br />-One blue 55 gallon steel drum containing gasoline paper filters/oily debris (1/3 full) had a hazardous waste label <br />that was missing the accumulation start date and the hazardous property. <br />-One black 15 gallon trash can containing oily debris was missing a hazardous waste label. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br />words "Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br />(contents), and accumulation start date. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by Marcel Dawson, Service Manage, <br />correcting the labels. The accumulation start date was unknown but an approximate date was used. The trash <br />can containing oily debris was emptied into a 55 gallon drum with a hazardous waste label on it.
