There are no Inspection Reports to describe the position of <br /> the sampling, but the 30 April 1987 copy describes this sampling location as a <br /> "resample". <br /> • The Underground Storage Tank Unauthorized Release (Leak)/Contamination <br /> Site Report issued by David Carls of the San Joaquin Local Health District dated <br /> 17 May 1988 has indicated several items for question First under the topic of <br /> "Source of Discharge" the box for UNKNOWN is checked and TANK LEAK or <br /> PIPING LEAK boxes were unmarked Second, under the topic of "Cause(s)", <br /> again the Unknown box is marked, and the OVERFILL, CORROSION, SPILL, <br /> RUPTURE/FAILURE boxes are unmarked Third, the topic of "Case Type" is <br />' described as SOIL ONLY, leaving the_groundwater and the undetermined boxes <br /> unmarked Fourth, the topic of "Current Status" is marked as NO ACTION <br /> TAKEN, with the boxes for SITE INVESTIGATION IN PROGRESS (DEFINING <br />' EXTENT AND PROBLEM), CLEANUP IN PROGRESS, SIGNED OFF <br /> (CLEANUP COMPLETED OR UNNECESSARY), POST CLEANUP <br /> MONITORING IN PROGRESS, NO FUNDS AVAILABLE TO PROCEED, <br />' EVALUATING CLEANUP ALTERNATIVES are left unmarked Last under the <br /> topic of "Comments", the statement "Soil contamination noted during tank <br /> removal" If there were any signs of corrosion , or spillage when the tank was <br /> removed it should have been noted at the time of the removal and in the <br /> unauthorized release report.
