This is to notify you that <br /> Section 25297.15 (a) in Chapter 6.7;of the Health and Safety Code includes a requirement that <br /> EHD (local agency) not issue a closure letter, or make a determination that no further action is <br /> required with respect to "hazardous substance" underground storage tank release sites unless <br /> all current record of fee title owner's (RTC?), to the site have been notified of the proposed action <br /> by the primary or active responsible party. <br /> Using the enclosed (RTC}) form, please identify all record fee title owners with their contact <br /> information and provide EHD certification in writing that all record fee title owners have been <br /> notified of the pending case closure. If you are the sole property owner, provide a statement of <br /> that fact to.EHD to fulfill this requirement. <br /> In addition, prior to is a `no further action required' letter to you, aWweiis installed during <br /> the site investigation must be properly destroyed under EHD permit and inspection. Wells <br /> located,in areas known or suspected to be contaminated must have the well contents removed, i <br /> typically through drilling them out, and then be grouted; otherwise, the wells can be pressure <br /> grouted with the required below surface cutoff and mushroom cap as stated in the San Joaquin <br /> County Well Standards. Any deviations from the well standards must be justified.
