Time In: 11.00 am <br /> Time Out: 11:30 am <br /> Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br /> Name of Facility: VENETIAN BRIDGES APTS WEST Date: 06/04/2020 <br /> Address: 2317 ROSEMARIE LN, STOCKTON 95207 <br /> Owner/Operator: STOCKTON 9-B LLC Telephone: <br /> Program Element: 3611 -PUBLIC POOL/SPA-PRIMARY <br /> Inspection Type: ROUTINE INSPECTION -Operating Permit Reinspection on or after: 06/05/2020 <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code section(s)116043, 116040,& <br /> 116050. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #2 Pool Enclosure MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:One section of fence was unattached from main building and there is a large gap making pool accessible <br /> to humans(south end). It appears that someone is using pool and the rest room (vandalism). Fence shall be immediately <br /> secured to building as to make it impossible to access pool area and prevent an accidental drowning. Pool shall remain <br /> closed to your tenants due to this hazard <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool area shall be enclosed by one or more of the following:a fence,portion of a building, wall, or other <br /> approved durable enclosure.Pool enclosure shall be constructed over a hard permanent material equivalent to concrete and shall be <br /> installed no more than 2 inches above the finished grade. Holes,gaps,or openings in the enclosure shall not allow the passage of a <br /> 4-inch diameter sphere.Doors, openable windows,or gates of living quarters shall not be permitted as part of the pool enclosure. (CBC <br /> 31196) Pool operator shall keep the pool enclosure well maintained. (CCR 65535) Pool enclosure shall have a minimum effective <br /> perpendicular height of 5 feet and shall be constructed so that it cannot be climbed by small children.Horizontal members shall be spaced <br /> at least 48 inches apart. No planters or other climbable structures shall be permitted within 5 feet of the pool enclosure or within a 5-foot <br /> arc. Chain link openings shall not be larger than 1314 inches when measured horizontally. Pool enclosures with a height of 4 or more feet <br /> are allowed if the enclosure was constructed prior to July 1994. (CBC 31196) <br /> #5 Restrooms and Showers <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Womens rest room door was forced open and door frame was damaged. Rest room was vandalized. <br /> Make repairs to door and frame. Clean and make sure rest rooms are fully functional and provided with necessary supplies. <br /> Correct by 1-2 weeks. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall ensure the following facilities are maintained and kept clean:showers,toilets, dressing <br /> facilities, drinking fountains,diaper-changing stations, floors, walls,partitions, doors,and lockers. Showers(except outside)shall be <br /> provided with soap in dispensers. Toilet facilities shall be provided with toilet tissue,hand soap, and paper towels or hot air blowers in <br /> permanently installed dispensers.Pool operator shall provide a minimum of one waste receptacle in each toilet facility. Wooden slats, <br /> duckboards and footbaths are prohibited. (CCR 65535, 65551)Showers and lavatories shall be provided with hot and cold water faucets. <br /> Maximum water temperature at showers and lavatories shall not exceed 110`F. (CBC 31168) <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Light is not working. Replace by 1-2 weeks (repeat violation). <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night,pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br /> not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating"NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and shall <br /> secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark.
