Henry (Ld SC 007 <br /> Sr REHS)to determine if the night time ER inspector should go out to the spill site. <br /> It was determined action could wait for the next day. <br /> 10/30/2019 3:28 pm Called Nathan Christman, PG&E Environmental Field Specialist, to PE 2546 LAWRENCE <br /> 60 min confirm details of spill. Cleaning solution was released onto soil during pipeline SC 544 <br /> cleaning. As a part of cleaning maintenance, a 10% solution of Bio Clean cleaner <br /> was run through a pipeline and collected into a vacuum which overflowed from the <br /> vacuum container onto soil. The spill was cleaned up using a shovel to scoop dirt <br /> and a vac truck to collect liquid. No impact to waterways. Half of a 55 gallon drum <br /> (approx. 27 gallons) of waste was collected from clean-up. Waste was left at the <br /> spill site pending hazardous waste determination. <br /> Nathan stated he took photos of the spill before clean-up and after clean-up and <br /> he will send to EHD. <br /> Generated complaint and notice to abate. <br /> Sent notice to abate to me@pge.com. <br /> 11/04/2019 Called Nathan Christman (559-410-5011) to follow up on getting the photos of the PE 2546 LAWRENCE <br /> 30 min spill and clean-up. Christman said he is still making a haz waste determination, SC 007 <br /> possibly based on generator knowledge. He will send photos and SDS to my <br /> email. <br /> Still need: <br /> -Photos <br /> -Haz Waste determination <br /> -Disposal Records <br /> Generated Emergency Response record (ER01)for the file. <br /> 01/08/2020 Reviewed complaint documentation for previous inspector(C. Lawrence), no PE 2546 MANZO <br /> 30 min disposal records were provided, called Nathan Christman PGE 559-410-5011, SC 544 <br /> discussed disposal documentation he indicated that the waste is still onsite and <br /> they are working on profiling (a sample was collected) and they are waiting on the <br /> analytical. He suspects that the waste will be non-hazardous. One 55-gallon drum <br /> of waste was generated. He indicated that he will put all the records together and <br /> he will send it over. He requested to have an email sent to nrc6@pge.com <br /> summarizing all the requirements. Drafted and email and sent to nrc6@pge.com. <br /> 03/05/2020 Reviewed sampling and disposal documentation (019515725JJK) from Nathan PE 2546 MANZO <br /> 48 min Christman (Christman, Nathan <NRC6@pge.com>), Nathan indicated in his email SC 544 <br /> that based on analytical sampling results clean up derbies were disposed of as <br /> non-RCRA hazardous waste. Emailed Nathan asking for a copy of the final <br /> manifest. Reviewed the complaint package, noted that the previous inspector <br /> didn't generate a Prop 65.
