On October 30,
2019, PG&E reported a release of hazardous materials that impacted soil at one of our Gas Transmission project
sites. The release was verified to consist of three to five gallons of Bioclean GS-34 aqueous cleaning solution that
impacted soil only. The impacted soil was removed and placed into one 55-gallon drum staged at the project site
pending analytical results. Attached for your reference is the Safety Data Sheet for Bioclean GS-34
A representative sample was collected from the 55-gallon drum (sample ID: R-1036-SOIL-DISPOSAL-1230) included in the
attached analytical reports 720-96745-1 and 720-96745-2 as provided by TestAmerica Laboratories, Inc. Based on the
analytical results, PG&E determined the contaminated soil to be managed as a non-RCRA hazardous waste.
The 55-gallon drum containing contaminated soil (non-RCRA hazardous waste) was transported by PSC for disposal on
February 4, 2020.
Invoice IN0332610 for$152.00 plus$3.48 in processing fees were paid on February 5, 2020.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Nathan Christman
Senior Environmental Field Specialist
Environmental Management — Transmission
Gas Transmission Projects
Direct: 209-272-8536 1 Mobile: 559-410-5011
Pacific Gas and
I- M Efecfic Company
3136 Boeing Way, Suite 1427B
Stockton, California 95206
From: Manzo, Elena K. <emanzo@sjgov.org>
Sent:Wednesday,January 08, 2020 11:53 AM
To: Christman, Nathan <NRC6@pge.com>
Subject: coeirx5mw complaint follow up-Byron Rd in Tracy- 10-30-2019
*****CAUTION:This email was sent from an EXTERNAL source.Think before clicking links or opening
attachments.*****
Hello Nathan,
As we discussed please provide the following for the spill that occurred on 10-30-2019:
1) Hazardous waste determination and disposal documentation for 1x55-gallon drum
1
