The containers <br /> were: <br /> 1.An open unlabeled 55-gallon drum of used oil was observed outside in the north-west area of the facility, and <br /> was missing the words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, <br /> composition (contents), and accumulation start date(see photos IMG 1074-5). <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Notes: <br /> -The inspection report was amended by adding violations 403 and 406. <br /> -The amount of hazardous waste generated in the last calendar year could not be determined due to the facility's <br /> lack of disposal records. <br /> -According to Edward Brown, Administrative Assistant, the metal fines are recycled with the rest of the facility's <br /> scrap metal at Alegre Trucking in Lodi, CA. Please provide receipts for the recycling of the metal fines and scrap <br /> metal to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD). <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. A complete report was <br /> amended and finished on 2/20/2020 and replaces the initial checklist. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 3/21/2020. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
