I <br /> I <br /> Quarterly Report - Fourth Quarter 2000 <br />' Former Curtiss Pontiac-Buick <br /> 2450 Toste Road, Tracy, California <br />' 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />' At the request of Mr Joe Toste, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for 2450 Toste Road, Tracy, California (the site) The scope of work included <br /> performance of a ground water extraction (pump) test, sampling of ten ground water monitoring <br /> I wells,data analysis and preparation of this report The site setting is illustrated in Figure 1 A plan <br /> view of the site is illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> IA summary of previous investigations at the site is included in Preliminary Investigation and <br /> Evaluation Report(PIER),prepared by AGE, dated 15 August 1997 and Quarterly Report,prepared <br /> by AGE, dated 18 September 1997 Ground water monitoring data collected from monitoring well <br />' MW-3,which is part of the underground storage tank(UST)release investigation at 2420 Grant Line <br /> Road, is included in this investigation to delineate the down gradient extent of the dissolved <br /> I hydrocarbon plume and to determine ground water flow direction and gradient Quarterly monitonng <br /> data from February 1998 to the present is summarized in Tables 1 and 2 in this report <br /> i2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field procedures were performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) and San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS-EHD) guidelines for subsurface investigations of underground storage tank (LIST) <br /> Isites and sampling ground water monitoring wells <br /> 2 1 AQUIFER PUMP TEST <br /> On 28 August 2000,a limited aquifer pump test was performed at the site The depth-to-groundwater <br /> was measured in wells MW2B, MW3 and MW4 using a Solinst water level meter A two-inch <br /> diameter Grundfos submersible pump was then lowered into MW 1B Pressure transducers were then <br /> placed in MW1A, MW1B and MW7 and connected to a data logger to record drawdown data from <br /> the wells Purge water was placed in a 4,000-gallon"Baker" above-ground storage tank The height <br /> of the water column was measured by the datalogger in one-minute time intervals Wells MW 1 B, <br /> MW2B, MW3 and MW4 are screened from 5 to 15 feet below surface grade (bsg) Well MW 1 A is <br />' screened from 23 to 28 feet bsg and well MW7 is screened from 37 to 42 feet bsg <br /> Advanced Gee Envirots mental Inc <br />
