' 10 <br /> • January 2041 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 96-0254 <br />' Page 4 of 6 <br />' 3 2 GROUND WATER ELEVATION AND GRADIENT <br /> The depths to ground water in wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-3 through MW-7 on-site and GLMW-3 <br /> Isite were measured between 6 54 feet and 9 62 feet below the tops of well casings <br />' The ground water flow direction during this monitoring event was towards the north at an average <br /> gradient of 0 003 ft/ft In the area of the former UST area and 0 006 feet/feet north of the site Ground <br /> water elevation contours are Illustrated on Figure 3 <br /> I <br /> 3 3 LABORATORY RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br />' TPH-g was detected In samples collected from wells MW-lB, MW-2A, MW-4, MW-7 and <br /> GLMW-3 at concentrations of 120 micrograms per liter (,Ug/1), 110,ug/l, 3,200 ,ug/l, 250 ,ug/l and <br />' 160,ug/l, respectively TPH-d was detected in the samples collected from wells MW-4, MW-7 and <br /> GLMW-3 at concentrations of 250,ug/l, 230 4g/l and 130 yg/1, respectively TPH-g and TPH-d were <br /> not detected in the remaining samples <br />' Some or all BTEX compounds were detected in each sample collected Benzene was detected In <br /> samples collected from all the wells at concentrations as high as 810 ug/l (MW-7) Toluene, <br /> ethylbenzene and xylenes were detected in these same wells at concentrations ranging from 0 56 yg/1 <br /> (xylene in MW-5) to 46 µg/l (xylene In MW-4) <br /> MTBE was detected by EPA Method 8260 in the ground water samples collected from MW-1B, <br /> MW-2B and MW-4 at concentrations of 5 0 ug/l, 2 0,ug/l and 6 7 gg/1 No other fuel oxygenates <br /> were detected in the ground water samples analysis <br /> The analytical results are summarized In Table 2 The laboratory reports MAI Laboratory ID 50886 <br /> Yt rY � ( rY <br /> to 50895), QA/QC reports and chain-of-custody forms are included in Appendix D <br /> On 19 December 2000 a quarterly monitoring event was performed at the adjacent site 2420 Grant <br /> Line Road Data obtained during this sampling event Indicates that TPH-g, TPH-d, BTEX <br /> compounds, and the five fuel oxygenates were not detected above laboratory reporting limits In <br /> monitoring well GLMW-3 <br /> The analytical results for monitoring well GLMW-3 are summarized In Table 2 The laboratory <br /> reports (MAT Laboratory ID No 56618), QA/QC reports and chain-of-custody forms are Included <br /> Iin Appendix E <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc <br /> I <br />
