INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Joe Toste, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> IQuarterly Report for 2450 Toste Road, Tracy, Califomia (the site) The scope of work included the <br /> sampling of five ground water monitoring wells The site setting is illustrated in Figure I A plan <br /> Iview of the site is illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> A summary of previous investigations at the site Is included in the Preliminary Investigation and <br />' Evaluation Report(PEER),prepared by AGE, dated 15 August 1997 and Quarterly Report,prepared <br /> by AGE, dated 18 September 1997 Ground water monitoring data collected from monitoring well <br /> MW-3,which is part of the underground storage tank (UST)release investigation at 2420 Grant Line <br /> I Road, is included in this investigation to delineate the dawn-gradient extent of the dissolved <br /> hydrocarbon plume and to determine groundwater flow direction and gradient <br /> I This report is prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board and <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) <br /> • guidelines <br /> I <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> I The ground water monitoring activities were conducted in accordance with Central Valle Regional <br /> gr g Y � <br /> I Water Quality Control Board and San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental <br /> Health Division (PHS-EHD) guidelines <br /> I2 1 GROUND WATER DEPTH MEASUREMENT AND PURGING <br />' On 21 September 1999, a Sohnst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water <br /> in each well relative to the top of the well casing After ground water depth measurements were <br /> collected, monitoring wells MW-1A and MW-2A were purged using a two-stage submersible pump, <br /> while wells MW-IB,MW-2B,MW-3,MW-5 and MW-6 were purged with pre-cleaned PVC bailers <br /> Nine gallons of water(a minimum of 3 well-volumes per well) were evacuated from wells MW-1B, <br /> MW-2B, MW-3, MW-5 and MW-6, and twelve gallons of water were purged from MW-1A and <br /> I MW-2A <br /> Temperature, pH and conductivity of the purged water were measured at 3-gallon intervals in all <br /> Iwells The field data were measured with an TCM model 52200 water analyzer Logs of the field data <br /> • are included in Appendix A Purged water was stored on-site in labeled 55-gallon drums <br /> Advanced GcoEn-,ironmental Inc <br />
