stabilize, which is interpreted to be aquifer water entering the casing. The sample will be carefully collected
with a clean bailer and poured into the appropriate laboratory prepared container with minimum cavitation.
Each water sample will be labeled, logged onto a chain-of-custody form, and placed in a chilled ice chest.
Upon completion of well sampling, each well will be closed and locked.
Chemical Analysis
Up to six(6)soil and six (6)groundwater samples will be analyzed at a State certified analytical laboratory
from the exploratory borings. At the minimum, these samples will be tested for the following; Total
Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline(TPHG),Benzene(B),Toluene(T),Ethylbenzene (E) and Xylene (X),
and Methyl-tert-butyl-ether and fuel oxygenates using EPA-Methods 3510/8015, 8020 and 8260. The
analyses will be run on an"normal"turnaround(five working days). Upon completion of the.groundwater
monitoring wells,three(3)groundwater samples will be collected and analyzed for the same contaminants
using EPA Methods 3510/8015, 8020 and 8260. Should records review identify other potential
contaminants from off-site sources, additional laboratory analyses will -be performed to ascertain the
presence"of off-site contaminant sources.
Report
A Environmental Site Investigation Report will be prepared for submittal to the City of Tracy, which
would be forwarded to the PHS EHD. The report will include the field methods, permits, exploratory
boring logs, monitoring well construction details, chemical analytical data and report narrative of site
hydrogeology and contaminant distribution, and conclusions and recommendations for further work if
needed.
If you have any questions, please call.
Sincerely, D
Wright Environmental Services, Inc.
QZ N21262
CERTIFIED
ENGINEERING
v'
John Lynch Christopher M.
