KLEINFELDER <br /> 3 CHEMICAL ANALYSES OF WATER SAMPLES <br /> A ground water sample will be collected from each well, plus a duplicate sample from one <br /> of the wells, and will be chemically analyzed by a State/EPA certified analytical laboratory. <br /> The water samples will be analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene,:'!and total xylene <br /> (BTT-7X) by EPA Method 602 and total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) extractable (3510) <br /> by GC-FID. Samples will be analyzed on a normal turnaround time. <br /> Regarding the TPH analysis requested by the County for diesel fuel,Kleinfelder notes that <br /> TPH extractable (3550) by GC-FID is a solid extraction only and is not applicable for <br /> analyzing water samples.
