The figure on page 45 <br />shows only 1'-1" wit!_ experience bending. Conservatively, if the moment arin is increased to 1/z <br />the footing required and the allowable concrete compression stress is decreased to 2500 PSI, the <br />required steel is only 0.10 In. Sq, where #4 bars at 24" would satisfy the load requirement. <br />This tarok has four legs with 4 bolts at each leg, and four tie downs t..�ith two bolts each. <br />6a).
