The figure on page #5 <br />shows only V-1" vvill experience bending. Conservatively, if the moment arra is increased to t/z <br />the footing required and the allowable concrete compression stress is decreased to 2500 PSI, the <br />required steel is only 0.10 In. Sq, where 44 bars at 24" would satisfy the load requirement. <br />Tris tank has faun- legs with 4 bolts at each leg, and four tie downs with two bolts each. <br />6a).
