The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for Victory Auto Sales as of June 04, 2020. <br /> Open violations from February 21, 2020 inspection <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#301 -Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: <br /> 1. Staining from what appears to be oil spills that were not cleaned up were observed on the ground next to, and <br /> on the concrete pad beneath,the facility's used oil tank. <br /> 2. Oil spillage that was not cleaned up was observed on top of the facility's used oil tank. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire,explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean the oil stains on the ground around the used oil tank and the oil <br /> spillage on top of the used oil tank. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code of Regulations for <br /> hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#505-Failed to completely label stationary hazardous waste tanks. <br /> OBSERVATION: The hazardous waste tank storing used oil does not have complete labeling.The tank is missing <br /> the words"Hazardous Waste"and the accumulation start date. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words"Hazardous Waste'and <br /> the accumulation start date. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Label the hazardous waste tanks with the words"Hazardous Waste"and the <br /> accumulation start date. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> Page 4 of 6 <br />
