Date February 3,2004
Quarter 4'b Quarter,2003
DISCUSSION:
Total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) and methyl tert-butyl ether (MtBE) were reported above method
detection limits in groundwater samples collected from site wells this quarter MtBE concentrations in ATR-2
decreased to the lowest level reported above method detection pmts In ATR-8,ethylbenzene was reported as below
method detection limits for the first time since March of 2001 Other analyte concentrations were generally
consistent with historic data Groundwater elevation in site wells generally increased relative to the previous
momtonng event The inferred direction of groundwater flow across the site ranged from the northeast to southeast
at an average hydraulic gradient of 0 002 feet/foot
The soil vapor extraction (SVE) system did not run during the reporting period The air sparge (AS) system
operated from. January 22 through the end of the fourth quarter 2003, however no samples were collected this
quarter Appendix A contains historical SVE/AS system operational data
This report is based on data, site conditions, and other information that are generally applicable as of the date of the
report, and the conclusions and recommendations herein are therefore applicable only to that time frame
TABLES
Table 1 Groundwater Elevation and Analytical Data
Table 2 Fuel Oxygenates Analytical Data
Table 3 Groundwater Gradient Data
FIGURES
Figure 1 Groundwater Elevation Contours
Figure 2 Groundwater Analytical Summary
APPENDICES
Appendix A Remedial System Performance Evaluation
Appendix B Field and Laboratory Procedures
Appendix C Laboratory Analytical Reports,Chain-of-Custody Documentation, and Field Data Sheets
Appendix D GeoTracker Upload Confirmation
K1WproccssV5 BP ARC0\020931Qaaner1yl4 QTR 0312093 GWMR 4Q03 doc Page 2
