Date: February 17,2003
Quarter: a6'Quarter,2002
DISCUSSION:
Total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), ethylbenzene, total xylenes, methyl tert-butyl ether (MtBE) and
tert-butyl alcohol (TBA) were reported in site wells this quarter. Analyte concentrations were generally consistent
with historic data. Depth to groundwater decreased relative to previous monitoring event. The inferred direction of
groundwater flow and the average hydraulic gradient were consistent with historic trends.
The soil vapor extraction (SVE) system did not run during the reporting period due to low influent concentrations.
The air sparge (AS) system operated in October and November and was shut down in December due to site
construction activities. Attachment A contains historical SVE/AS system operational data. ,
This report is based on data, site conditions, and other information that are generally applicable as of the date of the
report, and the conclusions and recommendations herein are therefore applicable only to that time frame.
TABLES
Table 1 Groundwater Elevation and Analytical Data
Table 2 Fuel Oxygenates Analytical Data
Table 3 Groundwater Gradient Data
FIGURES
Figure 1 Groundwater Elevation Contour Map
Figure 2 Groundwater Concentration Map
APPENDICES
Appendix A Remedial System Performance Evaluation
Appendix B Field and Laboratory Procedures
Appendix C Laboratory Analytical Reports,Chain-of-Custody Documentation, and Field Data Sheets
i
i
K:U5 BP ARCM209314QO212093 GWMR4Q01doc
Page 2
