�y <br /> B R W N \ D f l I_ I�EI'aLTIi <br /> E> ,i , <br /> C A L D W E L L f, SEP -q P,l 11, 51 <br /> September 6, 1994 <br /> Mr Chuck Carmel <br /> ARCO Products Company <br /> Post Office Box 5811 <br /> San Mateo, California 94402 017-1264-01/1 <br /> Subject Second Quarter 1994 Report for ARCO Station 2093, <br /> 3425 Tracy Boulevard, Tracy, California <br /> Pilot Program Site 1416 <br /> Dear Mr Carmel <br /> This report presents water-level measurements and results of groundwater sampling performed <br /> during the second quarter of 1994 at ARCO Products Company (ARCO) Station 2093, located <br /> at 3425 Tracy Boulevard in Tracy, California Fieldwork was performed by Groundwater <br /> Technology, Inc (GTI) on May 20, 1994 This report was prepared under Task Order <br /> 2093-94-7 There are seven on-site groundwater monitoring wells (ATR-1 through ATR-7) <br /> and five off-site monitoring wells (ATR-8 through ATR-12), as shown on Figure 1 Five of <br /> the on-site wells and four off-site wells were sampled Well ATR-6 was not sampled because <br /> it was inaccessible and wells ATR-3 and ATR-8 were not sampled because they contained <br /> floating product <br /> Field and Analytical Methods <br /> GTI personnel measured depth-to-water and product thickness (when present), purged each <br /> well to be sampled, and collected groundwater samples at the site Depth-to-water <br /> measurements and a check for floating product were made prior to commencing purging <br /> Prior to sampling, the wells were purged of a minimum of three well volumes or until <br /> evacuated using a centrifugal pump or bailer After purging, each well was sampled using <br /> a disposable bailer All groundwater samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> as gasoline (TPH-G), and for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) by U S <br /> Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 5030/8020, and 8015 Modified <br /> Groundwater data sheets and the chain-of-custody form are included in Exhibit A GTI's <br /> groundwater sampling protocol is included in Exhibit A <br /> • This report was prepared in accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the time it was <br /> prepared It should not be relied upon by parties other than those for whom it was prepared, and then only to the <br /> extent of the scope of work which was authorized This report does not guarantee that no additional environmental <br /> contamination beyond that described in this report exists at the site <br /> Enwronmentil Engineering A,-7d Consulting Analytical Services �a <br /> 9 61 6 %11CH0� A% I%iL P 0 Bo� 13�4�49 S1CR41IE\TD CA958I3 34 Y(y0REP0RTMND94QTRRPP <br /> 19161 444 0123 F ( 916) 86 )2 7 7 <br />
