�y B R W N \ D f l I_ I�EI'aLTIi E> ,i , C A L D W E L L f, SEP -q P,l 11, 51 September 6, 1994 Mr Chuck Carmel ARCO Products Company Post Office Box 5811 San Mateo, California 94402 017-1264-01/1 Subject Second Quarter 1994 Report for ARCO Station 2093, 3425 Tracy Boulevard, Tracy, California Pilot Program Site 1416 Dear Mr Carmel This report presents water-level measurements and results of groundwater sampling performed during the second quarter of 1994 at ARCO Products Company (ARCO) Station 2093, located at 3425 Tracy Boulevard in Tracy, California Fieldwork was performed by Groundwater Technology, Inc (GTI) on May 20, 1994 This report was prepared under Task Order 2093-94-7 There are seven on-site groundwater monitoring wells (ATR-1 through ATR-7) and five off-site monitoring wells (ATR-8 through ATR-12), as shown on Figure 1 Five of the on-site wells and four off-site wells were sampled Well ATR-6 was not sampled because it was inaccessible and wells ATR-3 and ATR-8 were not sampled because they contained floating product Field and Analytical Methods GTI personnel measured depth-to-water and product thickness (when present), purged each well to be sampled, and collected groundwater samples at the site Depth-to-water measurements and a check for floating product were made prior to commencing purging Prior to sampling, the wells were purged of a minimum of three well volumes or until evacuated using a centrifugal pump or bailer After purging, each well was sampled using a disposable bailer All groundwater samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-G), and for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) by U S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 5030/8020, and 8015 Modified Groundwater data sheets and the chain-of-custody form are included in Exhibit A GTI's groundwater sampling protocol is included in Exhibit A • This report was prepared in accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the time it was prepared It should not be relied upon by parties other than those for whom it was prepared, and then only to the extent of the scope of work which was authorized This report does not guarantee that no additional environmental contamination beyond that described in this report exists at the site Enwronmentil Engineering A,-7d Consulting Analytical Services �a 9 61 6 %11CH0� A% I%iL P 0 Bo� 13�4�49 S1CR41IE\TD CA958I3 34 Y(y0REP0RTMND94QTRRPP 19161 444 0123 F ( 916) 86 )2 7 7
