Fieldwork was performed by EMCON <br /> Associates (EMCON) on February 28, 1995. This report was prepared under Work <br /> Authorization Number 08458-00 <br /> There are seven on-site groundwater monitoring wells (ATR-1 through ATR-7) one on-site <br /> dual-completion groundwater monitonng/air sparging well (SMW-1), five off-site monitoring <br /> wells (ATR-8 through ATR-12), one on-site dual-purpose groundwater extraction/soil vapor <br /> extraction well(TEX-1), seven on-site dual-completion soil vapor extraction/air sparging wells <br /> (VES-1 through VES-7) and three on-site air sparging wells (S-1 through S-3) as shown on <br /> Figure 1 Wells ATR-3 and ATR-8 were not sampled because of the presence of 0 03 and <br /> 002 feet of free product, respectively Well ATR-12 was not sampled because EMCON was <br /> unable to access the well due to an inoperable well cover <br /> Field and Analytical Methods <br /> EMCON personnel measured depth-to-water and product thickness (when present), purged <br /> each well to be sampled, and collected groundwater samples at the site Depth-to-water <br /> measurements and a check for free product were made prior to commencing purging. <br /> Prior to sampling, the wells were purged of a minimum of three well casing volumes or until <br /> evacuated using a pump or bailer After purging, each well was sampled using a disposable <br /> bailer All groundwater samples were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and <br /> Tits report was prepared in accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the time it was <br /> prepared 11 should not be relied upon by parties other than those for whom it was prepared, and then only to the <br /> ti extent of the scope of work which was authorized This report does not guarantee that no additional environmental <br /> contamination beyond that described to this report exists at the site <br /> Environmental Engineering And Consulting Analytical Services <br /> 4616 MICRON A1E\UE SUITE 600, $ACR4MENTO CA 45821 2621 2043 REPORTS\IST9SQTRMRT <br /> (916) 444 0123 FAX (916) 856 5277 <br />
