2652(c) An Underground Storage Tank Unauthorized Release(Leak)Contamination Site Report <br /> (attached)was submitted to San Joaquin County Public Health Services.In addition to the <br /> information provided on that report,the following are presented to satisfy all requirements of this <br /> subsection: <br /> (1) see attached unauthorized release report <br /> (2) see attached unauthorized release report <br /> (3) see attached unauthorized release report <br /> (4) see attached unauthorized release report <br /> (5) see attached unauthorized release report <br /> (6) see attached unauthorized release report.The casing cap to monitoring well MW4 was <br /> replaced and will prevent liquids from entering the subsurface through this conduit. <br /> (7) Corrective action taken to date includes the removal of 0.05 gallons of gasoline from well <br /> MW4.Additional product removal will be performed on July 30, 1999.Results of the product <br /> removal efforts on July 30, 1999 will dictate what further efforts are to be taken.All recovered <br /> product is transferred by Blaine Tech Services to Chevron's refinery in Richmond,CA for <br /> recycling.Additional corrective action consists of quarterly groundwater monitoring from four <br /> existing wells. Subsequent contaminant trends will be evaluated to assess the impacts to <br /> groundwater caused by the release.A work plan for offsite investigation has been submitted <br /> for approval.All necessary permits are being secured. <br /> (8) The method of cleanup implemented to date has been limited to the removal of phase-separated <br /> hydrocarbons from groundwater in well MW-4.There has been 0.05 gallons removed by <br /> bailing to date.Additional bailing will be performed on July 30, 1999.The amount of gasoline <br /> recovered from bailing activities will be reported every quarter along with analytical results <br /> from monitoring well sampling.Results of the product removal efforts on July 30, 1999 will <br /> dictate what finther efforts are to be taken. <br /> (9) A total of approximately 0.05 gallons of gasoline have been removed from the groundwater <br /> surface in monitoring well MW4.All recovered product is transferred as non-hazardous by <br /> Blaine Tech Services to Chevron's refinery in Richmond,CA for recycling. <br /> (10)No changes to the primary or secondary containment equipment are planned. <br /> (11)Future releases will be prevented through the proper maintenance of all groundwater <br /> monitoring wells. <br /> If further information is required,please contact me directly at(925)842-8695. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Brett L.Hunter <br /> Environmental Engineer <br /> Site Assessment and Remediation <br /> Attachments <br />
