I write in response to your October 23, 1994 and most recent November 23, <br /> 1994 letters. <br /> rt <br /> I am requesting that you be reimbursed for a pro-rated share of the current taxes <br /> up to the Lease Cancellation date of October 31, 1994. 1 am also enclosing a <br /> Site General Arrangement Drawing of 6348 showing the specific areas where <br /> utilities were capped off as you requested.. <br /> Most importantly, I am enclosing a detailed response from Unocal Project <br /> Professional, Ed Ralston, to the issues you present in your October 23 letter. <br /> The letter addresses each concern you raise and validates the environmental <br /> actions that were taken in the site remediation. It further justifies the clean soils <br /> closure status that the SJCPHS granted to this site. It is my understanding.that <br /> the local agency normally has jurisdiction over soils closure and the CSWRCB <br /> has jurisdiction over water closure. That process is being followed in this <br /> instance. <br /> The impression that you received from Mr. Knoll is different from that gained by <br /> Ed Ralston from his conversations with Mr. Knoll. Ed Ralston has been and is <br /> available, within the constraints of a heavy work schedule, to discuss the site <br /> conditions you present. Ralston has already confrmed.a December 14, 1994 <br /> meeting with Mr. Knoll to review this site. <br /> t <br />
