Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> SUBJECT: Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report <br /> Unocal Service Station #5593 <br /> 3788 Tracy Boulevard, Tracy, California <br /> Dear Mr. Knoll : <br /> This report presents results of a subsurface <br /> investigation and installation of monitoring wells at 3788 <br /> Tracy Boulevard, Tracy, San Joaquin County, California. The <br />. site, located dust north of Interstate 205, is shown on Figure <br /> 1 . <br /> The purpose of the work is to assess the extent of any <br /> subsurface contamination and to identify the groundwater flow <br /> direction. All work is performed in compliance with guidelines <br /> established by the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (RWQCB) , and the San Joaquin County Department of Public <br /> Health Services. The work consisted of the following tasks: <br /> o Coordinating with regulatory agencies and obtaining <br /> necessary permits . <br /> o Preparing a health and safety plan. <br /> o Arranging and observing installation and development <br /> of four groundwater monitoring wells. <br /> o Arranging and observing the drilling of additional <br /> borings to delineate the nature and volume of soil <br /> contamination. <br /> o Collecting soil samples during drilling and water <br /> samples following well development for laboratory <br /> analysis of contaminants of concern. <br /> o Summarizing findings into a Preliminary Investigation <br /> and Evaluation Report. <br /> CHICAGO, IL SAN RAMON, CA PORT ARTHUR, TX <br />
