INTRODUCTION <br />' In accordance with the request of Mr Bob Yamada of Yamada Brothers, Inc , Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this Preliminary Site Assessment Report for the <br /> property located at 15406 South Tracy Boulevard, Stockton, California The scope of work included <br /> the advancement of five soil probe borings and the collection and analysis of soil and grab water <br /> samples The location of the site and the immediately surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1, <br /> structures and soil probe boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br />' Field work waserformed in accordance with the San Joaquin quin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br />' (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br />' 2.0. BACKGROUND <br />' The site is Iocated on Union Island on the east side of South Tracy Boulevard, south of Clifton Court <br /> Road and north of the Grant Line Canal, north of the City of Tracy, San Joaquin County, California <br /> The site is located in the northern half of Section 29, Township 1 South,Range 5 East, Mount Diablo <br />' Base and Meridian in an area of low topographic relief, at an elevation of approximately 3 feet above <br /> mean sea level (Union Island Quadrangle, 7 5-Minute USGS Topographic Series, 1978) The site <br /> and surrounding area operate as farms <br /> IAGE has been informed that two USTs were removed from the site in July 1991 Ground water was <br /> encountered at a depth of approximately 7 feet below surface grade (bsg) during the UST removal <br /> Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as diesel (TPH-d) were detected in a grab water sample <br /> collected from the excavation at a concentration of 210 parts per billion(ppb) following removal of <br /> the UST Analytical results of soil samples collected were not available The PHS-EHD <br /> rsubsequently required investigation to determine the extent of impacted soil and ground water <br /> Three domestic wells are located approximately 150 feet southwest of the former USTs location <br /> According to Mr Bob Yamada, bottled water is used for all drinking water and cooking at the site <br /> I3.0.
