INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Robert McCarty,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for the property located at 2420 West Turner Road, Lodi, California The scope of <br /> work included advancement of one soil boring, the installation and development of one well, <br /> performance of a quarterly ground water monitoring event and preparation of this report The site <br /> and the surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 On-site structures and monitoring well locations <br /> are Illustrated on Figure 2 Site background information is summarized in Appendix A <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines established by the California Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board - Central Valley Region (RWQCB) for the investigation of <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites Monitoring wells MW-7 and MW-8 are sampled annually <br /> dunng the fourth quarter at the request of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD) <br /> 21 MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION AND DEVELOPMENT <br /> One ground water monitoring well (MW-9) was installed on 20 January 2005 and developed on <br /> 25 January 2005 <br /> 2 1 1 Drilling and Sampling <br /> Twoorn clot bs were advanced on 18 and 20 January 2005 One pilot boring was completed as <br /> P g <br /> ground water monitoring well MW-9 Due to complications during drilling and setting the well <br /> I (heaving sands)boring B-1 could not be completed as a monitoring well The two pilot borings were <br /> advanced using a CME-75HT drill ng, equipped with 8 25-inch diameter hollow-stem augers <br /> Bonng B 1 was advanced to a depth of 130 feet below surface grade (bsg) and boring MW-9 was <br />' advanced to a depth of 50 feet bsg The drill rig and three-man crew were supplied by Mitchell <br /> Drilling Environmental Auger returns generated by drilling were containerized in properly labeled <br /> Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved model 17H 55-gallon drums and stored on-site <br /> Soil samples were collected ahead of the drill bit using a California modified split-spoon sampler <br />' loaded with three pre-cleaned 2-inch by 6-inch brass sleeves The samples were collected from pilot <br /> borings B-1 and MW-9 at five-foot intervals,beginning at 5 feet bsg using a 140-pound hammer to <br /> • advance the sampler The number of blows required to advance the sampler over each 6-inch <br /> Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
