WZI 1Nc <br /> 2.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> This Problem Assessment Report (PAR) has been prepared by WZI Inc to summarize past <br /> soil and groundwater site assessment and remediation activities that occurred from 1987 <br /> to 1997 at the Sebastiani Vineyards Woodbridge Cellars site, now known as Vendage <br /> Winery The site is located at 4614 West Turner Road within the northern portion of San <br /> Joaquin County These investigations were conducted as the result of a leaking <br /> underground fuel storage tank that released gasoline fuel (petroleum hydrocarbons) into <br /> the shallow subsurface at the site <br /> The work conducted to date at the site has involved six separate contractors and/or <br /> consultant groups who have completed various elements of work through the site <br /> assessment, remediation and groundwater monitoring phases This PAR presents a <br /> synopsis of the significant previous basic data submitted to the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services Environmental Health Division (County Public Health) and the California <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board-Central Valley Region (the Regional Board) <br /> Work accomplished to date by the various constituents and contractors has included <br /> completion of a site assessment investigation for soil and groundwater petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon contamination, installation and operation of a groundwater treatment system <br /> that is based on pumpage and treatment of petroleum hydrocarbon-contaminated <br /> groundwater using best available technology and continued monitoring of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon concentrations in groundwater from the existing groundwater monitoring well <br /> network <br /> This PAR presents all data in a format that is in accordance with the Tri-Regional Board <br /> guidelines for site investigations at petroleum hydrocarbon-contaminated underground <br /> storage tank sites <br /> Significant findings of the past technical work conducted at the site and the review of <br /> groundwater monitoring events indicates the following 1) the groundwater contamination <br /> 19150011 005 2 <br />
