14 November 2000
AGE-NC Project No. 00-0782
Analytical results of the ground water sample is summarized in Table 1. Copies of the laboratory
report (McCampbell Analytical Inc. Lab number 52450) and chain-of-custody form are included in
Appendix B.
5.0. DISCUSSION
The lack of detectable concentrations of the target analytes in the soil sample analyzed suggests that
the detected analytes in the ground water sample may not be the result of a release from the former
USTs. The concentrations of TPH-d and MTBE detected in the water sample are so low that AGE
believes that it is unlikely that the PHS-EHD or CVRWQCB will reopen the UST case at this time.
6.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based upon data collected from the site, AGE recommends no additional assessment of the
subsurface below the former UST system at this time.
7.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based mainly
upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluations of the geologic/
hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a limited
number of available data points (i.e. grab ground water samples and soil samples) and subsurface
conditions may vary away from these data points. No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made
as to the professional recommendations contained in this report.
Advanced GeoEnvironmeotal,Inc.
