QUARTERLY GROUNDWATER MONITORING AND SAMPLING REVIEW
4614 W TURNER RD. , LODI
PAGE 3
Groundwater levels ranged from 21 . 62 to 23 . 88 feet below the
surface, still low due to the drought .
Laboratory analyses indicate no benzene present in any of the
wells tested MW-3 and MW-6 each showed trace amounts of
toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene
FIRST QUARTER 1993 - Sampled on January 29 , 1993
Groundwater levels and samples were obtained from 8 monitoring
wells at the site . MW-1 has been converted to an extraction
well MW-9 is inoperable
Groundwater levels continue to remain low ( 20 . 87-22 . 68 below
surface) , showing only slight impact from a wet winter .
Laboratory analyses indicate a trace amount of benzene in MW-10
(0 . 8 ug/L) . No contaminants were detected in any of the other
wells .
SECOND QUARTER 1993 - Samples taken May 7 and May 14 , 1993
Groundwater levels and samples were obtained from 8 monitoring
wells at the site. MW-1 has been converted to an extraction
well . MW-9 is inoperable .
Groundwater levels showed a significant rise since the last
quarter. Levels ranged from 16 . 04 to 17 . 95 feet below the
surface. This represented an average rise of 5 . 06 feet from last
quarter .
Laboratory analyses indicate TPHg was detected in MW-3 ( 61 .0
ug/L) . No other contaminants were detected in MW-3 , or in any of
the other wells
THIRD QUARTER 1993 - Samples taken on August 17 , 1993
Groundwater levels and samples were taken from 4 monitoring wells
at the site. MW-1 has been converted to an extraction well .
MW-2 , MW-4 , MW-5, and MW-7 have not shown any contaminant levels
for a year or more, and were not tested during this round of
sampling. MW-9 is inoperable.
Groundwater level in the four wells tested ranged from 14 . 81 to
15 . 88 feet below the surface . This represents and average rise
of 1 . 49 feet from last quarter.
