Groundwater Extraction and Treatment System Installation and Operation <br /> Letter Report for Sebastiani Vineyards/Woodbridge Cellars, 4614 West <br /> If Turner Road in Lodi, California. <br /> Mr. Manildi: <br /> At the request of Sebastiani Vineyards/Woodbridge Cellars (Sebastiani), California <br /> Environmental Engineers and Contractors (CEECON) is pleased to present this letter <br /> report summering the installation and first three months of operation of a groundwater 4 <br /> f extraction and treatment system GTS installed at the subject site. Copies of this report <br /> may be submitted to the San Joaquin County of Public Health (SJCPH) and the California } <br /> Regional Water Quality Control board (CRWQCB). This work was performed as outlined <br /> 4 in the Remedial Action Plan, submitted to SJCPH and CRWQCB by Waterwork on <br /> November 10, 1990. <br /> SITE. DESCRIPTION AND BACKGROUND <br /> Site History <br /> A 550-gallon underground leaded gasoline storage tank was removed from the site on <br /> November 4, 1988 by the Claude Woods Company of Lodi, California. Soil samples <br /> collected by Canonie Environmental Services of Stockton, California from directly below the <br /> former tank (approximately 8 feet below ground surface [bgs]) indicated total xylene isomers <br /> at 600 parts per million (ppm), total petroleum volatile hydrocarbons at 500 ppm, and total ' <br /> lead at 18 ppm, respectively. The underground leaded gasoline storage tank removal <br /> activities generated an excavation to groundwater (approximately 18z feet bgs). The length <br /> l and width of the excavation is not known.
