TURNPIKE RD., STOCKTON, CA <br /> SEPTEMBER 9, 1998 <br /> R;;�), Fk EL) <br /> PURPOSE AND SCOPE MAY 1 1 1999 <br /> �+ ��- � &-AiLTH <br /> The following report documents the Second Quarter 1998 colleA& �t�d ratory <br /> analysis of groundwater samples from three monitoring wells located �. �f' `dnding„ <br /> 1211 So Tui npike Road, Stockton, CA <br /> SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br /> The site address is 1211 So Turnpike Road, Stockton, CA The 0 33 parcel is located at the <br /> northeastern corner of the intersection of Commerce Street and So Turnpike Road in an area zoned <br /> for light manufacturing and industrial use (Figure 1) The property is located in projected Section <br /> 14, TIN, R6E, of the MDB&M at approximately 12 feet above mean sea level (Figure 2) <br /> The property previously contained one 500 gallon gasoline Underground Storage Tank (UST), that <br /> was used to store leaded and unleaded gasoline from the late 1950's or early 1960's through 1987 <br /> (Figure 3) The UST, product dispenser, and associated underground piping were removed from <br /> the site in 1987 <br /> The property owner has installed three monitoring wells in the course of investigating the soil and <br /> groundwater conditions at the site <br /> ` LOCAL GEOLOGY AND HYDROGEOLOGY <br /> The site is located on surface soils belonging to the Stockton Adobe Clay series These sods are <br /> derived from Recent alluvial fan and floodplain deposits The 50 feet of explored section at the site <br /> consisted of light brown silty clay with lenses of sandy clays and silts <br /> The groundwater in the vicinity of the site is unconfined Groundwater elevation at the site varies <br /> from a wet year high of 25 feet bgs to at least 50 feet bgs during the previous drought period <br /> Groundwater flow direction at the site has generally been to the east <br /> 1 ARC- QM 4-6, 98 <br />
