CA FECENED DECEMBER 9, 2003 p E C 12 2003 ENVIRONMENT HEALTH PURPOSE AND SCOPE PERMIT/SERVICES The following report documents the First, Second, and Third Quarter 2003 collection and certified laboratory analyses of groundwater samples from four monitoring wells located at former Arc Pump and Welding, 1211 So Turnpike Road, Stockton, CA SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION The site address is 1211 So Turnpike Road, Stockton, CA The 0 33 parcel is located at the northeastern corner of the intersection of Commerce Street and So Turnpike Road m an area zoned for light manufacturing and industrial use (Figure 1). The property is located in projected Section 14, T1N, R6E, of the MDB&M at approximately 12 feet above mean sea level(Figure 2). The property previously contained one 500 gallon gasoline Underground Storage Tank (UST), that was used to store leaded and unleaded gasoline from the late 1950's or early 1960's through 1987 (Figure 3) The UST, product dispenser, and associated underground piping were removed from the site in 1987. The property owner has installed four groundwater monitoring wells in the course of investigating the soil and groundwater conditions at the site LOCAL GEOLOGY AND HYDROGEOLOGY The site is located on surface soils belonging to the Stockton Adobe Clay series These soils are derived from Recent alluvial fan and floodplain deposits The 80 feet of explored section at the site consisted of stiff clay and silt with 2-4 foot thick layers of fine to medium sand at approximately 20, 55, 60, and 78 feet bgs • Are Pumn OM 1-9- 2001
