WESTERN 1196 r'As r riFAMT R STRFFT <br /> WOODLAND CA 95776-6001 <br /> Liza <br /> GEO-ENGINEERS (530) 668-5300, <br /> CAi FF CONTRACTOR#513857 FAX(530)662-0273 <br /> IU-6IS1 LRLD GLOL06I515 uegC-a'tuuthu Loin <br /> JANUARY-MARCH 2002 <br /> QUARTERLY GROUND WA TER MONITORING REPORT <br /> FOR ARC PUMP & WELDING, 1211 SO TURNPIKE RD., <br /> STOCKTON, CA <br /> JULY 11, 2002 <br /> PURPOSE AND SCOPE <br /> The following report documents the First Quarter 2002 collection and certified laboratory <br /> analysis of groundwater samples from four monitoring wells located at former Arc Pump <br /> and Welding, 1211 So Turnpike Road, Stockton, CA <br /> SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br /> The site address is 1211 So Turnpike Road, Stockton, CA The 0 33 parcel is located at <br /> the northeastern corner of the intersection of Commerce Street and So Turnpike Road in <br /> an area zoned for light manufacturing and industrial use (Figure 1) The property is <br /> located in projected Section 14, TIN, R6E, of the MMB&M at approximately 12 feet <br /> above mean sea level (Figure 2) <br /> The property previously contained one 500 gallon gasoline Underground Storage Tank <br /> (UST), that was used to store leaded and unleaded gasoline from the late 1950's or early <br /> 1960's through 1987 (Figure 3) The UST, product dispenser, and associated <br /> underground piping were removed from the site in 1987 <br /> The property owner has installed four groundwater monitoring wells in the course of <br /> investigating the soil and groundwater conditions at the site <br /> LOCAL GEOLOGY AND HYDROGEOLOGY <br /> The site is located on surface soils belonging to the Stockton Adobe Clay series These <br /> soils are derived from Recent alluvial fan and floodplain deposits The 80 feet of <br /> explored section at the site consisted of stiff clay and silt with 2-4 foot thick layers of fine <br /> to medium sand at approximately 20, 55, 60, and 78 feet bgs <br />
