Laboratory
for these samples are summarized in Table 1, test results
The laboratory analysis the 15.0 20.0 25.0 and 30.0 samples
from the well boring tWl did not record the
presence Of above method detectil)n limits. The TPHD ions
ranged from <1.0 ppm (at concentrations.ft) to 4.1 ppm (at 30.0 ft).
Chlorinated hydrocarbons and semivolitile organics
(including PCB's) were not detected in the samples
Metals concentrations ranged from <0.5 ppm tested.
ppm
r. The concentration of TPHD,
V chlorinated hydrocarbons (8010) and semi volatile organics
(8270) constituents were all below method detection limits.
Metals concentrations ranged from <I.0
(Zn). The TPH-D concentration was recordedmat(Cd)
to 271 ppm
- b and 59
ppb in the two samplings. The laboratory directorpindicated
that these, concentrations represented a single constituent,
as opposed to a range of diesel hydrocarbon constituents,
based on the chromatogragh. These levels were reported as
diesel hydrocarbons because the constituents peak occurred
within the diesel hydrocarbon range. Concentrations of
test results for these sampling are summarized in Table 4.
;ro
6.0 CUNCLUSIONS
The removal of the three 10000 gallon diesel tanks and
associated product lines has eliminated the primary source
of subsurface hydrocarbon contamination in this area.
