ROGER <br /> FGDTT <br /> AS5 <br /> OCIATES <br /> October 27, 1993 <br /> 323-001 <br /> Ms Carmen Punla <br /> 1334 South Center Street <br /> Stockton, California 95206 <br /> Subject Executive Summary <br /> Soil and Groundwater Contamination Evaluation <br /> 1587 French Camp Turnpike, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Ms Punla <br /> At your request, Roger Foott Associates, Inc performed an evaluation of soil and <br /> groundwater contamination at the former service station located at 1587 French Camp <br /> Turnpike in Stockton, California (Site) This work was conducted to evaluate the extent of soil <br /> and groundwater contarmnation associated with the removal of underground storage tanks at <br /> the Site This report summarizes our findings and presents our recommendations for the Site <br /> based on the data generated in our field investigation Our work included dnlling three <br /> exploratory soil bonngs, constructing, developing, and sampling two groundwater monitoring <br /> wells installed in two of the borings, modifying the well head, redeveloping, and purging one <br /> pre-existing well, groundwater sampling from the three monitoring wells, and laboratory <br /> analyses of selected soil and groundwater samples The Site formerly had three underground <br /> diesel storage tanks and one waste oil storage tank <br /> One soil boring was drilled and a monitoring well (MW2) was constructed in a location <br /> inferred to be downgradient from the former tanks and one (MW3) was located near the former <br /> dispenser island on the east side of the Site Soil and groundwater contamination was not <br /> detected in either location Groundwater contamination was not detected in the pre-existing <br /> well (MW I), located near the former waste oil tank, following redevelopment and purging <br /> 1401 Halyard Drive, Suite 130 6 P 0 Box 426 • West Sacramento, CA 95691 • (916) 325-2580 • Fax (916) 325-2570 <br />
