A NJ O A Q U l N Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY— V AMENDED <br /> 10/21/2020 <br /> Underground Storage Tank Program Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> SHORT STOP FOOD MART 20 W TURNER RD, LODI September 16, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 208 CCR 2716(a-e) Failure to conduct the designated UST operator visual inspection at least once every 30 days. <br /> OBSERVATION: The designated operator failed to check and note all required items on the visual inspection <br /> reports.The incorrect and missing information included the following from the inspection reports: <br /> -8/13/2020 DO report was not dated by owner <br /> - 10/12/2020 DO report was not signed or dated by the owner and was on the old DO monthly report form. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: During the visual inspection,the designated operator shall check that all required <br /> testing and maintenance for the UST system have been completed and shall check all required items on the report. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Ensure that designated operators performing visual inspections at this facility are including <br /> all of the required information on the reports. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 301 HSC 25292.1(a)UST system is not operated to prevent unauthorized release, including spills and overfills. <br /> OBSERVATION: The fuel filters under dispenser 6 are not located to allow drips and leaks to drain back into the <br /> UDC. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The underground storage tank system shall be operated to prevent unauthorized <br /> releases. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately provide approved secondary containment for the filters under permit and <br /> inspection by the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 302 CCR 2630(d), 2641(a) Monitoring equipment is not installed or maintained to detect a leak at the earliest <br /> opportunity. <br /> OBSERVATION: The 87 and diesel sensor was located on the opposite end of the product piping and not located to <br /> detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Monitoring equipment shall be maintained to be able to detect a leak at the earliest <br /> possible opportunity. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The sensor was relocated to the lowest point of the sump by the service technician. <br /> Ensure that all monitoring equipment is maintained and located to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. <br /> Corrected on site. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection.
